Compton's Florist has been proudly serving the La Porte, Texas area since 1956. We are a full-service, family-owned and operated shop that is committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts. We offer same-day delivery backed by outstanding customer service. As longtime residents of the La Porte area, we actively support our community through leadership, participation, and financial commitment.

Owner Debbie Gordy has been involved in the flower business for over 30 years and has owned Compton's Florist since 1994. Debbie has earned the Texas Master Florist certification and joins a select group of professionals who have made a commitment to individual excellence within the floral industry. She has served as Past President of both the Allied Florists of Houston, TX and of the Texas State Florists Association. She has also served as the director of La Porte's Education Foundation and has been a longtime member of the La Porte / Bayshore Chamber of Commerce. In 2017, Gordy was one of ten finalists for Teleflora's Tom Butler Floral Retailer of the Year Award.

Store Hours

Our La Porte flower shop is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
